Super-slim Cell Phones Now Have the Power of Laptops
It powers 3-D games, plays high-definition movies, and smoothly runs many programs at once—a combination few other phones offer. It is less than 4/10 of an inch thick—20 percent thinner than an iPhone. It's a cell phone that is considered the world’s smallest PC. It's the Toshiba TG01.
This cell phone holds a speedy one-gigahertz processor by Snapdragon. This processor is about as powerful as a budget laptop's. It also holds a graphics chip and a GPS receiver. However, these features won't hog your battery - the main processor holds low-power transistors and runs at top speed only when needed.
Toshiba will release the TG01 in Europe this summer and is planning to release Snapdragon phones later this year, possibly here in the U.S.

Epilepsy Foundation Announces Joyce Bender as the New Board Chair The Epilepsy Foundation’s Board of Directors elected Joyce Bender, CEO and president of Bender Consulting Services, Inc., as its new chair for a two-year term. She is the founder of Bender Consulting Services, Inc., a national company based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and the host of Disability Matters with Joyce Bender, a radio show airing on www.voiceamerica.com.
“In 1985, a seizure almost ended my life,” said Bender. “That experience led to a whole new purpose in life for me. It is the greatest honor to be appointed as board chair of the Epilepsy Foundation and I will work to serve and represent all Americans living with epilepsy.”
When Bender founded Bender and Associates International, Inc., its focus was on matching the right people with the right technology and management positions. When she suffered a life-threatening, epilepsy-related accident, she created a new business to help talented people with disabilities find rewarding professional careers.
“Joyce has been a dedicated member of the board of directors and supporter of the Foundation for 10 years,” said Eric Hargis, president and CEO of the Epilepsy Foundation. “We are fortunate that she shares her resources, passion, and knowledge to help further our mission to ensure that people with epilepsy are able to participate in all life experiences.”
Bender has received numerous awards for her efforts in advancing the employment and empowerment of people with disabilities, including the 2003 Bush Administration’s New Freedom Initiative Award and the 1999 President’s Award, which was presented to her by President Clinton at the White House.

A Story is Worth a Million Dollars
By: By Karissa L. Schepis, Pepper Hamilton LLP
You have a great idea, and not only that, but also a plan to turn this great idea into a potentially profitable business. Now all that’s between your great idea and your money-making business is funding. To obtain funding, you need to create a story that will convince prospective investors that your great idea is a worthy investment and team up with a deal lawyer who can structure the financing to meet company and investor expectations.
Many start-ups and companies in need of capital seek funding through private placement offerings from investors, such as venture capitalists and angel investors. No matter which type of investor you pursue, all investors will have high expectations and expect significant return on their investment. Before investors will entrust your company with their capital, they want to see a substantial, identifiable market for your great idea, and a substantive competitive edge that differentiates your idea from the other ideas that are on the market. To convince investors that your idea is an attractive investment, your tool is your story.

Keyword Stuffing or SEO Buffet? By: Heather Jewell, NuRelm
The art of boosting traffic to your Web site can be a long and often grueling process. However, there are a few tips and tricks to make things go a little smoother. Whether you have a Web site that has been around for a few years or you have a new site that is awaiting content, here are a few guidelines to keep in mind.
There are a few essential steps to take when creating content for a Web site. The most important step is to devise a list of keywords that you think are important to what your business or organization does. The key is to pick keywords that people would search for to find your business on search engines. For example, a clothing boutique might choose keywords like vintage clothing, designer jeans, designer clothing brands, or any specialty pieces they carry.

Power to the People
By: Jay Resio, CEO, MyGov365
Why did you create the MyGov365.com platform? It’s clear there’s a huge communication gap between citizens and government. Decisions are being made that affect us each and every day, yet we don’t have a real voice in these decisions each and every day. Our society has seen countless ways in which innovative technologies have been used to create a more collaborative and open environment in various industries and across numerous target audiences. As a citizen, I wanted an easy way to access all kinds of legislative information and provide feedback to my elected officials. If I were an elected official, I would want this information at my fingertips so I could craft legislation and make decisions that align with my constituents’ needs and wants. It’s time we apply innovation and ingenuity to make this happen.
What are some of the key features of MyGov365.com? It can be challenging for the average citizen to find information online about politics and government. You have to visit dozens and dozens of Web sites to find information and the content is very fragmented. With MyGov365, you can access all the info in one place and the platform intelligently connects all of the dots for you. Simply customize user preferences and we can feed you more relevant information such as your elected officials, what bills they are introducing, their voting history, candidates running in your area, alerts to new or updated legislation, and local government news. In addition, users can create profiles, blog, post events, create groups, make connections, and more.
