Fifteen Minutes Gallery
G-20 Special Exhibition opens at the Pittsburgh Technology Council Innovation Lives Here: A New Generation of Pittsburgh
Through January 21, 2010
In celebration of this year’s G-20 Summit, the 15 Minutes Gallery is proud to present a collection of artwork that reflects the diversity, creativity, excellence and innovative spirit of Pittsburgh today. Twenty artists represent work in virtually all media – from the traditional to the leading edge. Fabric art and oil paintings, microscopic photography and gigapan technology, sculpture, collage, glass, assemblage and robotic installations – all of these media combine synergistically to form a vast and diverse collection of some of the region’s best artwork. President Obama chose us for many of the same reasons that the Art + Technology Initiative is in existence; today in Pittsburgh, we are demonstrating our ability to adapt, and even flourish – and are embracing our potential to reinvent ourselves, both culturally and economically.

At the Intersection of I.T. and the Law – bit-x-bit builds success with topnotch e-discovery and computer forensic consulting services
By Matt Pross

The ever-growing and pervasive nature of electronically stored information (ESI) in today’s society is transforming civil litigation. Now the e-discovery process and the necessary computer forensics involved can play major roles in determining whether or not a plaintiff has just grounds on which to sue, or a defendant has grounds for dismissal. In business litigation, recovering, restoring and reviewing all potentially relevant ESI is critical to establishing the claims and defenses of the parties.

Robert Morris Debuts Rally Towel with help from Clearview Credit Union
Robert Morris University’s first rally towel made its debut on September 19, 2009, in RMU Colonial football stands, as fans cheered on RMU players in a way that is very familiar to Pittsburgh.

The RMU rally towel was designed by Clearview® Federal Credit Union. Its unique look features “Go RMU” and the RMU Athletics Colonial logo. The RMU community loves the towel and feels it will lead to heightened school spirit, similar to other area universities. RMU Associate Athletic Director, Marty Galosi quotes, “I’m very excited about the rally towel and the attention it’s bringing to RMU sports.”

Desire for the RMU rally towel has grown among RMU students, parents, faculty and alumni. Clearview is giving a free rallytowel to anyone who visits a Clearview branch with a 2009-2010 season RMU home football, basketball or hockey game ticket stub. Clearview President and CEO, Mark Brennan commented, “As a not-for-profit organization we aim to give back to the community. What better way than to give our backyard university some added school spirit.”
